The Canucks wore this patch to celebrate the "1986 World Exposition on Transportation and communication" - simply Expo `86 in Vancouver from May to Occtober 1986.
More than 22 million people attended the expo with featured pavilions from 54 nations and numerious corporations - the biggest event in British Columbia history.
