Broda played 14 seasons with the Leafs and won the Stanley Cup Trophy 6 times. He also won the Vezina Trohpy twice and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1967.

Leafs wore two alternate shoulder patches in 1995 to honour two former Maple
Leafs goaltenders and Hockey Hall of Fame members - Johnny Bower and Walter
"Turk" Broda. Broda played 14 seasons with the Leafs and won the Stanley Cup Trophy 6 times. He also won the Vezina Trohpy twice and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1967. |
