The
Leafs wore two alternate shoulder patches in 1995 to honour two former Maple
Leafs goaltenders and Hockey Hall of Fame members - Johnny Bower and Walter
"Turk" Broda. Bower spent 11 seasons with the Leafs in the NHL and won four Stanley Cup championships - 1962, 1963, 1964 and 1967 - with the team. He won the Vezina Throphies two times and was elected into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1976. |
