| The Lightnings wore this Cullen´s number 12 to honour their former assistant captain. John Cullen played for the NHL since 1988 and two seasons for the Tampa Bay Lightnings in 1995/96 and 1996/97 before he suffered with cancer in 1997. After winning his battle against Non-Hodgkin lymphoma he played 4 more games with his team in 1998/99. | |
