The All-Star patch is usually worn by the team who hold the annual NHL All-Star Game and on the All-Star Game uniforms.
In 2008/09 there were two different types of patch - a french version of the patch worn by the Montreal Canadiens and an english version of the patch worn by the players at the NHL All-Star Game!
The Canadiens hosted the 57th NHL All-Star Game on January 25th, 2009 at the Bell Center in Montréal, Québec (CAN).
